Q: Is it possible to see more pests after the initial service?
A: It is possible to see more activity after the application, because, due to the manner in which we treat, some pests may become more active directly following the treatment. It can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for the chemical and/or baits to have full affect.
Q: If I see sawdust and wood shavings, are these termites? A: No, probably not. It is more likely carpenter ants or powder-beetles. Your Keller technician can identify the insect for you.
Q: Can we always get the same technician?
A: You can request a certain technician to do your service. We try to accommodate as best as possible but scheduling changes occasionally occur.
Q: Does a pest control service work for termites? A: No, but we do free termite inspections at your convenience.
Q: How can mice get into my home?
A: Their skeletal structure is extremely flexible, which allows them to fit through a hole the size of a dime.
Q: For a general pest control service, where is the bait and/or chemical applied?
A: We follow all label requirements. The materials are applied in cracks and crevices, perimeter treatments, attics, wall voids, basements, garages, and exterior foundation. For some pests, such as roaches and stored product pests, the cabinets may need to be emptied.
Q: Do you treat for spiders? A: Yes, we do. The treatment involves a combination of liquid residuals, dusts in attics, walls, cracks, crevices, and traps.
Q: Do termites eat sheetrock? A: Yes, they eat the cellulose material that makes up part of the sheetrock.
Q: When I make an appointment, do I have to wait around all day or can you give me a time frame?
A: We will give you a specific appointment time, and will call you if, for some reason, we are running more than five minutes late. We will never make you wait.
Q: Do you dust attics for bugs and if so, how often?
A: Yes, we will dust attics. However, if the attic has storage or a furnace in it, an alternative treatment method is available.
Q: Are your inspectors and technicians experienced and knowledgeable?
A: All of our technicians and inspectors are highly trained and are either registered or certified in Missouri and Kansas.
